Abstract

These three Kiliwa myths, the War of Revenge, Mountain Sheep Constellation, and The Death of Metipa are of considerable ethnographic and linguistic interest, given the diminishing number of Kiliwa speakers. Although also available in his English translation, as noted in the bibliography, Dr. Mixco publishes them here so that Spanish speakers of the Kiliwa community will have easier access to them.
